A Vintage Airstream owner at last
I can't claim to be a brand new member since I have posted a number of times as a curious newby but now, after two or three years looking in from the outside, I have bought my very own 1969 Globe Trotter. I am a retiree living in Massachusetts but hope to spend the several cold months each year somewhere south of interstate I10 making this trailer the best that it can be. I anticipate that participation in these forums will play a large role in making this possible. Step one is to find a suitable tow vehicle and a location somewhere in Florida that I can use to get started on basic structural renovation. To this end, please see my advertisement “Space in Florida wanted to renovate vintage Airstream” on these forums under the heading “Winterizing, Storage, Carports and Covers” and also under “Classifieds”,“Wanted – Parts, Appliances and more”. Any help finding work space, indoors or out, would be greatly appreciated and result in a considerable reduction in anxiety on my part.
