'77 Excella 500-lots of questions.. Newbie

Hello Everybody,

We are Ventura and Petra Lopez from Houston, TX. We have two young children, Sofia and Lukas, and we are all looking forward to becoming avid "Airstreamers". We just became proud new parents to a '77 Excella 500, and we are very excited.
We have lots of questions, and have already read alot on the forum.
Our first question involves cleaning up the vinyl wall coverings, and we have read a lot about various cleaners stated on here. Of course we went out and got the strongest out there...Super Clean. Are we doing the right thing using this, or will we be potentially ruin things? What strength should we use? Our lovely PO smoked, and I seriously think they loved greasey cooking, because it is thick. We are eager to start cleaning, and get going on the restoration.
Our other question is, can you paint the "fake wood paneling and cabinetry, and if so, what do y'all recommend? Any help is much appreciated.
Again, we are so happy to be here.

Petra and Ventura Lopez

Welcome to the forum, Petra and Ventura...glad you could join us and congrats on your new baby! You're going have a blast fixing it up.

I can't really answer your initial questions, by you can do a couple of searches and check out the sub-forums for possible answers. And others will chime in soon to help out...

Just wanted to say welcome aboard!
