'66 Safari moving to Seattle

We're moving to Seattle! Looking for any fellow streamers in the area with any information. We are currently in Montana and arriving in the Seattle area tomorrow for the next few years. Anybody have any tips on storage yards for our baby...stupid apartment rules! I would even rent a spot in a fellow streamers yard at the market rate! Also looking for anybody in the area with some repair expertise to match my young enthusiasm as the road hasn't been to kind to us and we're in need of some repair. Is there anyone out there...in Seattle?

How about Land Yacht Harbor in Lacey? I wonder if they rent storage spots? When we're up in Seattle for business, we always stay there.

Being a Seattle native and past owner of four Airstreams, I'd suggest, if the coach is being stored, a blue tarp (The Washington State flag) and a couple of small ceramic heaters to keep the moisture down. They will rot up there, even under cover without heat. The option is to take the coach out from time to time and heat her up, the NW can be glorious during the winter, especially on the coast.

Sorry about the late reply, we have acquired a decent storage situation, but am hoping to get some advice or coaching replacing the back quarter panels of the belly skin. Seems complex with the curve, hoping someone has some experience or lessons learned so I can tackle that. I haven't seen a good thread about it, but that would get me started.

Hi here is a couple pics of the rear belly quarter panels. I used .032 big mistake! Use .025 much easier to work with. I made a template out Luna then cut out a piece of aluminum. I will take more pics of the new install.
