65TWIND from AZ New to Forum

Hello fellow Streamers

We bought our new (old) 1965 Tradewind in Sep of 2012 in Scottsdale AZ. We have been voyeurs here for a long time before that and regular readers since the purchase. As with many other newbies we are infatuated, overwhelmed and underbudget. We are former ground campers, then a pop up and now beloved Henrietta. We still work full time but looking forward to the days of long trips. We are slowly mapping out a plan of attack for fixes, updgrades etc. No long voyages yet as we still have the old tires on for the first year while we go from service to service and storage to house for work. Tried to make the Vintage Academy but didn't sign up soon enough. Thank you for all the valuable information the users post here so that we can learn from all of you as we enjoy our new Airstream.

Well hello there 65 tradewind! welcome to the forums and she sure does look nice from the outside! Any pictures of the interior? Our budget is not the greatest specially with 2 more grandsons due this month (twins). but ours is getting there slowly but surely! Since it is a tad bit smaller than yours it is a little easier. Have a fun and safe adventure.

Hittenstiehl- Congrats on your 65 TW and welcome to the forums. We are a bit partial to 65 and have enjoyed the entire process of renovation/updating. It can get costly so good planning is important. Enjoy!

Welcome. Love those Trade Winds, especially the 60's era.
