Welcome from Colorado: There are a lot of Bambi fans here on these Forums. Airstream has been making a 16' trailer for maybe 60 years. It was a Bubble 16' in the mid fifties. I think the Bambi name was introduced in
1961 as a 16' trailer. The
Caravel 16' as well as the 18' version was in there too. There was a Bambi II in the sixties. I was pleased when Airstream reintroduced the Bambi 16 again. They are popular.
Me, well I like the long trailers for long trips. I renovated a 1975 Overlander 27' and we use it as the "family" Airstream as my son's check it out too. Airstream trailers last a very long time.
