2005 Quiksilver

We have just purchased a new Quicksilver and after sleeping in it one night we had to put it in storage until March as we live in snow country. We are
so anxious to pull it out and get on the road. Does anyone have suggestions
or interesting advice for us???? We owned a Casita before this Bambi, and
three Rialta MH.before that. We travel from SV, Id. to Steamboat Springs, Co. all summer, but our first trip out will be to Santa Fe, NM then on to Tx.
for awhile. Any special camps along the way?
Happy Trails! Betty@ John

.........Go thru Chama , NM and maybe ride the narrow gauge RR . It runs up to just west of Alamosa and is every bit as Scenic as the one from Durango . Chama is almost due south of Pagosa Springs . Beautiful country !r66

If you are going that way, stop in Colorado and see Black Canyon of the Gunnison Nat'l Monument, drive thru Ouray and stop at the hot springs. Ride the rail road. Stop in Silverton to watch the Durango-Silverton train as it arrives. Camp at Navajo Lake State Park on the Colorado/New Mexico line (SW of Pagosa Springs) on your way to Chama.

Stop and camp at Great Sand Dunes Nat'l Monument in Colorado on your way back!
