Wink 1998 Airstream Safari 25'

From Ontario, Canada!
Finally figured out how to join and possibly post on a discussion forum. We can't seem to locate a manual for 1998 and we are having difficulties with the Creation windows leaking. I will post photos in another post.

Welcome to the forum. We have a '97 25' Safari. Sorry, don't know what kind of window you are referring to.

"Creation" windows

Creation windows were installed in the '98 Safari and are single pane gasketed insert windows that appear to be of poor quality. The company has since gone out of business and there may be stock with a USA company. We are looking for any help/instructions for reinstalling them properly after we remove the clips and butyl rubber and clean the glass.
Alternatively, should we replace the windows with a better brand of window. I have attached photos of the windows. We have tried re-installing one window but can't get the glass properly seated in the clips. We have viewed many videos for installing RV windows but none show this type of installation.

I have the same windows in my 1998 Safari and we noticed a leak that appears to be coming in where the black outside surround meets the aluminum side. I was looking for a parts breakdown and ran across this company which has parts:

Creation window parts

Hope they have what you need.

Regards,
Orin
