Question 1988 345 Airstream motor home

Purchased a 1988 32 ft airstream motor home a few weeks back after selling our 32 ft 1978 excella of 4 years. The motor home has been sitting in the Arizona dessert for a few years so the sliding window tract/seals are dry, cracked and open the air. Ordered new rubber seals for around the windows from airstream hoping that recommendations on how to remove the seals and replace them might show up with the new one but no such luck. Looking for advise on how to remove the seals and how to replace with the new one. Is there a glue that has to go under the new seal or is it just pressed in the tracks and whats the best way to get the old out? Do the windows have to be removed? Husband has taken on the rebuilding of the ingine but my job is windows and interior. Any advice would help.
