Congratulations on your new Argosy. I bought a 76 26 ft. a month ago and just love it. Cleaning is about all she needed. Yours looks great. I love the green.
Welcome to the Forums and the world of Vintage (First Generation) Argosy ownership!
The Argosy is indeed a wonderful coach, and I would be very hardpressed to decide between my '78 Argosy Minuet 6.0 Metre and my '64 Airstream Overlander. Part of the fun with Argosy is comparing notes with others whom own the same model and size of Argosy -- often if the coaches production dates are far apart or they were produced in different factories (Versailles, OH; or Cerritos, California), you will find nuances brought about by running changes made in the production process -- Argosy was something of the experimental division for Airstream.
Good Luck with your coach!
Kevin

Congratulations and welcome to the wonderful world of Argosy. If we had gotten the 26ft, twin bed layout, I'm certain we would not have needed to get the 31ft Sovereign. Those pullout beds are just not comfortable no matter how many pads you put on them. Now we have the twin bed, rear bedroom and love it, BUT we just can't part with our original Argosy. I think you will grow to love yours and find it hard to even think of parting with it. Have fun and go camp.
I see you are close! I am also in WV I have a 72 Argosy and love it so far I have done some extensive repair and resto to mine! Need any help this is the place and of Course Andy is very helpful as well
