1973 argosy 24

Hi I live in SE Kansas and this weekend I bought a 1973 Argosy 24. I think she is the sweetest thing. She is in fairly good shape for her age. The paint will have to be redone eventually and the cushion on the front couch/bed is really gross. I also will have to replace the front drapes. I washed them yesterday and it didn't turn out so well. I ended up with lots of pieces of draps. My family and I are looking forward to many happy camping trips in our little jewel.

Welcome to the forums!! We have an Argosy too. Lots of work to be done, but, as we do, read all you can here. If these people haven't done it, it can't be done!!

If you have questions that aren't answered in a thread, just chime in and let us help. A fine bunch here, and always willing to put in a few cents worth of ideas.

And pictures...they just love pictures!!!

Good luck with your new coach!!

We own an Argosy down here in Oklahoma. Love these little cream trailers. If you need anything, let me know. Waiting for those pictures.

Here are some pics taken when we first got to the site where our argosy was sitting. It is amazing what $13.00 at the car wash can do. I will have to get some pics after her extended clean up.

redo fun

I reupholstered the two gauchos. It was hard work, but well worth the effort! You will have lots of fun camping. This is a great group. Lots of Argosy owners online here. Good luck with yours!

Come on down!

There is an Airstream rally in Branson, Mo the first weekend in April, come on down! Even if you don't bring your trailer, you can join in and have fun, learn about Airstreams and Argosys and meet lots of great people.

Thanks a bunch for the invite. I'll have to see. My kids are in 4H and they have several shows and judging contest coming up. Maybe we can catch the next one if we can't make it. It sounds like a lot of fun.
