1973 25ft. Land Yacht

Hello! We are new members, and we are excited to join the Airstream club. We are renovating out 1973 Land Yacht, and so far we have just about gutted her. We took down her interior skins this past weekend, and I washed down the panels with Simple Clean. There are, of course, rivet holes galore. We will replace the insulation (any suggestions on the best replacement for this?), but we're not sure on whether/how to replace the interior skins. Can you patch them and re-rivet? Should we replace them? They are sealed with the interior covering (light beige), and we are not looking to have the shiny inside. Sorry purists, but we are looking for color, so painting is an option. Thanks!
