1965 Sovereign-Towing recommendations?

Hello!

I bought a 30' 1965 Sovereign International and it is waiting for me up in Hood River, OR until I can find a way to transport it down here to Chico, CA. My family has an F-150, but based on the different opinions I've read here, I'm not sure if we would want to tow it with this truck or not... Any insight for me?

Can anyone recommend someone that I could hire to tow the trailer this distance (about a 9hr drive) at an affordable rate? What is a reasonable rate?

I just had a friend tow his 31' from Pa.to Naples,thru the WV. mountains,with a F-150.He said it was slow going on the hills,but it was fine on the flats.
I would say if you have good brakes on the trailer,and a WD hitch,and the truck set up for towing,then go for it,just take your time and don`t try to rush it. Dave
