Greetings and welcome to the vintage Airstream hobby. Your new old trailer is a classic for sure. You just met Bubba L who is a "whale tail" specialists. And there are many others here. Maybe Bubba will post a photo of his beautiful 56 Flying Cloud.

We would love to see some photos of your trailer, both inside and out. Many folks love "big projects" so don't worry if your trailer has no interior, or subfloor, or windows, etc. We have seen many in pretty rough shape. But folks renovate them and get them back on the road.

I had a 66 Trade Wind that I did extensive work too. Here is some photos. It is a generation newer than yours. Maybe you will see may differences.

Oh golly: It appears I didn't upload my photos. So here they are. I do this as I figure new Airstreamers might find different years and models interesting to learn about. The 1966 is much different than the 1955.
