Bedroom Carpet

I have a 2010 27FB. My wife is not happy with the white carpet in the bedroom. It won't stay clean. We just made it through a rainy week with guests and it was not possible to keep everyone out of the bedroom, so it got more tracked up than usual.

Is there a recognized practice for replacing the carpet with something easier to keep clean. Failing that, is there a good source for some sort of plastic rug covers.

Thanks
Brad

Suggest a solid surface floor (wood, laminate, or vinyl) is much more practical than carpet. I chose cork which is warmer and softer underfoot.

Under the carpet is the flooring as in the other part of the trailer. We cut the carpet around the bed stand.

Wow - does anyone know if this applies to the 2007 Airstream Classic 27' as well? I will rip that stuff up next week if it does!
