2008 Classic How do you get to the area under the shower drain?

Can anyone suggest how I can get to the area below the shower drain?
I went into check the water pump etc to de-winterize and I saw a lot of debris saw dust, screws and mouse droppings. However I can see "light" coming in from outside I can't figure out how to get to the area.

If anyone has a better solution to seal that area I am very interested in learning how.

Thanks in advance!

I do remember someone posted that they put insulation under that drain to make the area warmer when in the shower. I can not remember what the thread was titled I tried to search different ideas but had no luck.

Going on memory alone as I don't have my 27 yet. Isn't the shower seat over part of the wheel well area? I think I'd start looking there if in fact part the shower seat is over the wheel well area. Maybe remove the tire and wheel and start there?
I sort of remember the thread you mention, but I don't know where to find it. I could be way off base with my comments. Not trying to screw things up.

The wheel is to the left it's open forward of the wheel.
I don't think the wheel will give me the access I need I believe it's some how related to the front shower/city water connection cabinet on the drivers side.
