'07 Classic Door Bell

Just FYI: if your door bell ever stops working, the fix may be easier than one would think. I was convinced I had a broken wire or worse. Couldn't find a way to take the button off the trailer, so I tackled the door bell box under the counter extension. Held on by two screws, I removed said cover and discovered my doorbell was not a 12 volt integrated bell system, but rather powered by four (4) size 'c' batteries. One had simply come loose. DUH!!! Fixed. I admit, I am not smarter than a fifth grader.

Now you have me thinking, the door bell doesn't work on my rear door. Now I have to look for the electrical source. Thanks

My batteries often shift about. I use duct tape to keep them in place and they still pop out some times. Then I can't hear Avon calling.

The door bell in our '87 double door is in the front of the coach on the road side radius. The back door on our '87 doesn't even have a door bell.

Our '06 has the battery powered version and one battery comes loose on every trip.

The door bell is about my favorite feature on our Airstreams
