Shocks needed

I recently replaced the axles on my land yacht with new dexter 45 degree axles for clearance issues they did not come with shock brackets is this something I should replace or is it useable without? It is not a camper anymore more of a bar on wheels your thoughts would be appreciated thanks!

The shocks really don't do a whole lot on those axles. Our trailer doesn't even have shocks on it from the factory.
Also, 45 degree axles would be nearly impossible to install factory shocks on, since the angle is too high.

I think the shocks were an afterthought. I see no added benefit

Thank you I was thinking the same thing but wanted another opinion my axles were so bad they were at a negative degree when I took them off
