you have to get under the sink / shower control area. Its a tight fit but if you get in the tub you will see an access hole of sorts under there. I had to enlargen mine with a saw to make it work for me. There is also access through the outside panel in the rear. I connected the hoses I got to the controls through the tub area, then hung them down in the back through the access there and was able to hook them up.
When I was in the tub, I dropped my saw and it cut my leg at the knee. Not pretty!
Byam hooks ..I had plastic replacements, which I trashed for the flamingo hooks..Thanks for the link on that.

Sorry, I forgot to describe a Byam Hook, I have not followed the Forum pages much lately. My '66 Overlander International had several original ones and some were missing. They are next to impossible to find and by chance at the Airstream store in Jackson Center last Summer I came across three. They are very similar to my originals and were made abroad. I got the three they had. I wanted to fit them in the original holes and that worked well. Wally invented them to hold clothes and other items while traveling. The unusual hook curves up and in slightly to keep things in place. We have wanted to keep things close to original and these fit the bill. Unfortunately, this nice VTS copy is no longer available.

When I replaced the floor under the toilet and sink I was able to get the toilet, sink, lower surround ( tub outside wall and in front of toilet ) and not damage any of it. I installed a new tub faucet and sink drain and faucet. I pre hooked up long braided supply lines to the fixtures and fed them through the hole. I then installed cut offs next to the battery underneath. It all went back well without damage or modifications.

I got in the tub and looked under the sink/shower area but saw nothing. Do you mean under the faucets? I'm starting to feel pretty dumb.

Well, I finally got around to posting a few pics of Wanda. I'm not sure I will ever be completely finished with all the work as there is always something I want to fix or make nicer, but we are enjoying her, and look forward to camping with her for many years to come!

1966 Overlander 26'
My husband and I have recently inherited an Airstream 26' Overlander 1966. It is southern Illinois. We need to sell this gem as we are not campers. Any advise on how best to do that??
Would really appreciate your input!
Thanks!

Tidy it up, take nice pictures, write a decent classified add and list it here on the Airforums Classifieds.
