The International Package was introduced during the 1950s as an upgrade over the standard Land Yacht trim level. It appears from information on the Airstream corporate site that the International package was first offered in 1958
. The contents of the package changed somewhat from year to year and there could be slight differences in content based on model of coach to which it was applied. In 1980
, International became a separate model rather than a package that could be added as an option to nearly any Airstream in the fleet.
