Interior upgrade and external storage
One of the things we deal with is having external storage on our Airstreams, so I modified an aluminum hitch carrier to fit on our hitch to carry two Honda generators and a propane tank. We also pulled the propane oven and replaced it with a microwave/convection oven unit.
Inside we put in a laminate floor, pulled the propane/electric frig with a regular electric frig run off the TV inverter when on the road, then the generators when boondocking.
We think we have a more practical Airstream now.
