Finally...

I've been looking over trailers (mostly airstream's) for about 6 weeks, a short time by some standards but I finally found the trailer I'm going to purchase.

It is a;
1968 Overlander Land Yacht, 26'.

Something that makes this one unique (at least to me) is it has two "bunk beds / cots' in the middle area. The bathroom upfront (by the hitch) is pretty common, and the sofa / dining area in the read by the door seems to be pretty common.

Am I right? Is this special or common?

Any idea how much it would have sold for originally? Any idea what it's worth now? It look mostly original; the counter tops are starting to peel up and need to be replaced, the store and heater need to be services (at the least, possibly replaced to have something more reliable). It still have the clear coat but it's starting to peel. No canopy's. No rips in the interior, no broken glass. All the vent covers seem to be in place - no leaks. No AC

I'd appreciate to know if you have any information.

Y2k Knight,
Glad to hear you found your coach so quickly. Take a look at the Airstream Photo Archives & Model Index. More specifically the listing for your model...

68Overlander

Then look here for Price Vs. Condition to see if you got a deal.

Now update your profile and post some pictures so we can see your new pride and joy.

The bunks were an option on many of the trailer, but the rest of the arrangement sounds unique. It sounds like everything is reversed including the location of the door. The baths were commonly in the rear and the door was in the front. Please post some pictures...

Y2k Knoght,
You might have something special. Here is a graphic of the floor plans for a 1968 26' Overlander from Fred's Airstream Archives...Both show a rear bath and a door towards the tongue.

Defnitely post some pictures.
