Mine comes from ground water, others comes from surface water, still others water comes from both sources.

Who thinks that items in landfills don't also leach into the ground?

Sewage is treated, or with septic systems it decomposes before it leaches through different strata to in effect clean the "stuff".

We are fans of the Curve... 5 gallons, battery pump, blade style valve, we've even just laid a bag in the bowl for solids. National and state parks, forest service campgrounds, private campgrounds all have some sort of bathrooms. Even some dispersed areas here in Colo. have bathrooms. Remember to put chemical in the tank. Allowed me to take both black and gray tanks out of our 76 Argosy 24 and install a 35 gallon gray tank where the original 12 gallon one had been. When I'm leaving a campground I dump the gray and the Curve. Yes, be aware of altitude and temperature changes, the burp is unpleasant.
