Hey everyone,

What is the best method for removing the exterior rivets that hold the shell to the c channel/ frame?

Hopefully you have an Air Compressor. Nobody has mentioned tools yet, the right tool makes a world of difference. The best tool to remove solid shank rivets is an pneumatic drill motor that spins at approx 2800 RPM. The drill bits are just as important as the drill motor, #30 135 degree split tip cobalt will last a long time and makes drilling out the rivets easy.
