1967 Overlander Reincarnation

Hello all, new member hereÖ

Been eyeballiní this 1967 Overlander for about 10 years. I go by the farm once or twice a month and it is only about 15 miles from my home. Last month I decided I WANT this trailer. It wasnít for sale but I left written messages on the farmhouse door a few timesÖ FINALLY, a call-back! Made a deal and brought this beauty home last week. The PO was as interesting as these trailers are beautiful! The farm was also over 200yrs old!

Purists do not read any further LOLÖ My plan is to bring this darling of a trailer back to life through reincarnation into a food trailer and be a side business to my machine shop. It will be a slow process but rewarding Iím sure. So far Iíve cleared the interior, removed the roof AC and will be tearing out the subfloor next. This will be a body off resto since I know the frame will need some welding and repair. I will be spray-foaming the floor and walls as well. I've worked a couple of hours per evening on it since and Iíll try my best to keep posting progress but I have so little time to go online these days.

This is how it looked when I picked it up...
