What decisions need to be made before reinstalling the floor and belly skin?
Regarding a 1963 Bambi
Still months away from having the frame coated, new axle, and plywood coated, but wondering what decisions need to be made before "sealing" the frame between the belly skin and the plywood?
I looks to me like there is no electrical wiring between the belly skin and the floor, no gas lines. Black water tank was above the frame, but does have a draing system under the floor. I do not recall if there was a grey water tank.
Seems to me, before I put down the floor and wrap the belly skin, all I need to do is develop the floor plan enough to place the potty and accomidate the draining system for the black water tank.
What do folks with the small Bambi do for grey water ?
All other wiring, plumbing, and propane is above the floor. Is that correct?

63 Bambi did not have a grey tank...you may or may not want to put one in. I personally don't think they are worth the effort. All the other things mentioned are above the floor...except propane lines. It goes out side, underneath until it penetrates the floor at the entry point by the appliance. The split from stove to furnace is, likewise, outside the floor. Alaska? Now is the time for insulation planning too.

The only wiring in the floor is for the electric brakes. The propane main lines are under the bellypan, with runs up thru the floor to the appliances.
You need to drain the blackwater tank to a dump valve and some people would add a grey tank in the frame, but in a Bambi the frame is only 3" and it's hard to get a tank in there. Also the frame is not built to hold the weight of grey water so most would use a blueboy for grey water. You could add an above floor grey tank but it would only catch the sink.

I have the shell on cinder blocks in the driveway, and seems like i have broomed 3 ft of snow off it last month.
I want to do this right, but the quicker I get the shell back on the frame the better.

That about right. The only things in the pan was black tank, trailer wireing and my duct work. I added a grey tank in mine we shall see if it is worth the trouble.
