Vintage sub floor repair
Restoring 63 Cloud and I am replacing some of the sub floor. My question is it ok to fasten the floor to the main frame rail with self taping screw / bolts. This would require 1/4" in the frame?

Sure, the main frame rails on my '63 were made from structural C channel, tough as nails...

I predrilled the holes and used high quality self tapper bolts from Fastenal.
