jcarp, you may get better results if you start a separate thread on the subject. Ours is 22.5 radius. Let me know if you need more since they all vary. Good luck

The old faucet is now leak free. 😁
I ended up using a couple of inches, maybe less of the fat kind of graphite & oil impregnated string..from Ace. Not the rubbery stuff.
Used a dental tool to push it down flush into the fixture.
Then I had some beveled yellow rubber washers. Those I drilled out to fit the valve shaft.... Extreme press fit.
The washers were pushed down over the shaft then the nut snugged down.
Thanks for the tips.....
Happy Sunday.

Why when i attach my TV to the trailer the lock lever for the ball wants to stick up?
Are there different tow balls in 2"?

Boy, not that I'm aware of. I'd recommend removing the sliding shoe and insure it is positioned right. It is supposed to slid down and out of the way when you drop the trailer on the ball. If it is being pushed up, something is wrong.

Others will chime in and have a solution to the problem.

The shoe is a replacement from vintage trailer supply. Supposed to be for my vintage.
The shoe slides up & out of the way.
The traiker drops on the ball nicely.
The shoe when down around the ball is beyond the half way point of the ball but should be down closer to the neck of the ball. I think.
I even tried it with just the ball, same thing. That rod the shoe is attached to sticks up out of the tongue about an inch. The handle instead of being flat when closed is at about a 45 degree angle.
I'll get a picture tonight and post.
I'm kind of scared to tow it like that.
Just when I'm almost done. 🤔

I wonder. I believe there are more than one manufacturer of the stamped A-frame ball receiver. There might be differences between this brand and that brand. It might be VTS provided one shoe when you might have needed a different brand. I'm reaching here, but I seem to recall a discussion thread on that subject from maybe 7 years ago or so. Search AirForums.

I believe the manufacturer of your ball receiver stamping will be stamped in the piece somewhere. Maybe under layers of paint.

Paint is gone. & repainted. Its a Marvel 2"
Our local RV dealer sold me the ball.
I didn't get to the garage last night we had humidity that drove me inside after a day of working in it.
I'll try tonight for a picture.

Here are photos of the 2 Marvel latches that I have. I have not rebuilt them but the first needs attention. The release lever does not lift high enough to let go of the ball, I have to grab and pull up to get it to let go.

Thanks for the pictures.
Mine will hold the ball just fine. & it let go of it fine. I want to figure out why the rod stays partially up.
I've taken the latch off the tongue & nothing appears to e wrong. Or missing.

I just found the old latch i took out several years ago. I am going to put that back in and see what happens.
+ compare the 2 side by side since it's been several years ago i replaced it.

The 2 latch assemblies are the same.
I put the old one back in and the latch handle snapped down flat. There was no front to back or side to side slop but there was some up & down slop.
I put the new assembly back in & zero slop when the ball is locked in. But the rod still sticks up like in the picture.
I'm stumped.

Any suggestions on a battery monitor that doesn't take an electrical engineer to install?

My Caravel bathroom is 99.9% done. All that's left is to press the window shade. 😊
The only thing left to be able to call the camper "done" is put in the water heater.
10 years and God only knows how many hours later..............

I should add that the last 5 years were the major renovation years. The first five were little stuff while I got up the courage to do the floor.
Floor, frame, all major systems etc......
