thanks for the memories

Well I took my 78 23' Safari to Wisconsin. It was an awesome trip. On the way home the frame broke and came up through the floor. I pulled the sheeting off the underside and low and behold the frame looked like Swiss cheese. I took my trailer down and gave it to Habitat for humanity because I figured at least someone could live in it. That night in their lot some ass hat shot the windows out of it. Anyway thats the end of my airstreaming for a while. Thank you all for your advice and helpfulness over the last two years.

Bummer --- Sorry to hear another sad tale of under engineered Airstreams.

That was a nice looking unit.

But I will make a note not to park overnight in any Habitat parking lots!

Sounds like, "Habitat for Insanity!"... some low-life's have no respect for 'Art' when they see it!
