If you're going to use the upholstery below, then maybe it's a little too busy.
I'd combine the funky countertop boomerangs with a coordinating 2-tone upholstery fabric, ( like Winick did) go wild on throw pillows, and then pick a neutral color for the drapes. Keep it tone in tone on teh big surfaces like seats and bed cover and drapes, go wild on small decorative pillows etc.
But then, that's just me.

yeah, that's what I was thinking, too. I wasn't intending this countertop to go with the green and grey seats, just a different idea. I think I'll go with a black speckle on the tops. It'll make the stainless circle sink and cook top pop... plus, the windows are all getting aluminum micro-blinds, and the perffed aluminum panels, etc... more modern than funky.

Clean and simple it is! We're camping this weekend, but as soon as we get back, I'll get the countertops built. I can't wait to see them in place. This is my favorite stage of any project. Every single piece looks better and better!

The aluminum trim is ordered, and should be here by then as well.

Here's another idea for the cushions... with a solid cocoa for the bottoms, that matches the darker color in this pattern...

What kind of stain will you be using on the wood in the trailer? What color fabric for the curtains...? The color combo below is nice but depending on these other colors, could make it pretty dark inside. 'Course, pretty cozy, too...

The interior is done. It's sealed with 5 coats of lacquer, natural finish. I wanted a light interior in this one.

Got the countertops cut, sink and cooktop cutouts done! I also installed the first pieces of perffed aluminum under the galley cabinet. They look really good with the natural wood, I think.

I just ordered 20 different samples for the fabric. Once we settle on that, I can pick the laminate and REALLY make this interior pop! I'm towing it to my upholstery lady this week to get yardage needs and order the foam. I'm going 5" on this one. we put 6" in our other one, and it's way more than enough.

Hopefully this week we'll be getting the aluminum micro-blinds, aluminum trim and the aforementioned samples. Gonna be a busy week! Then we're off to Beufort to see the Trailerworks guys and swap out my tires and rims on the Trade WInd (and camp on the beach, of course!)

You know, that riveted aluminum panel on the fridge really looks great. I really like that little drop-in two burner job. What kind of stove top is that?

I got it at Vintage Trailer Supply. I think it was about $120? I've seen them on eBay though for $90. It comes in a 3 burner set-up, too. I can't wait to get the counter tops done! Hopefully we'll settle on some cushion material next week, and I can order something. That REALLY finishes her off nicely, I think.

I haven't decided yet. it kinda depends on which way we go with the cushions. Finding a cool pattern/color combo for the cushions is much harder than finding a complimentary color from Lowes in Laminate.

OK, I did a little finish trimming this evening, just for fun. This trailer is becoming a collection of unfinished pieces, and I was just DYING to put the finishing touches on at least ONE part!

First off, I got my blinds in, and decided to test fit the 2 on the sides. They look better than I imagined. I couldn't be happier with them! All 4 windows only cost me about $150 delivered. These are the micro 1/2" natural aluminum blinds. Any thicker and it would have taken up valuable floor space! ha!

One problem with the blinds that I haven't decided how to handle yet is the openers. They protrude into the blind space and make them bow out. I'm thinking about seeing if I can get openers with reversed handles, or possibly reverse the bottom bracket, so they stick out to the edge of the blinds, and I wouldn't have to do any cutting!

We'll see.

These blinds came with little brackets that hold them close to the wall, too, but I didn't install those yet, because the final window trim isn't in, because I need to brake some thin pieces of aluminum to hide the wall interiors, and I can't get over to my friend's to do the braking until after we get back from Beaufort SC this weekend. How's that for a long excuse?

Next, I bent the aluminum trim to go along the edge of the sofa area. This will hide the thin plywood edge, and give it a little bling on the divider line between the cushions and bottom cabinets.

I had them cut the pieces into 8 foot strips so it wouldn't cost me hundred$ to ship, and wouldn't you know it... the piece needed to be 8'3"!!!! so, I cut it back enough to bet one piece on the last curve where it heads into the galley cabinet. I didn't secure all that yet, because I still need to final fit the AC unit

I said this trailer was a lot of unfinished projects, didn't I? In fact, the belly pan is still missing 2 center panels! ha!

Here's the view from the door. You can see where the piece ends before the last curve. I thought it better to splice there, than right by the door. Who knows... no one will notice it but me, I bet!

Next, I trimmed out the first of 2 magazine rack/cubby holes. Using the same trim as the couch, only run deep into the opening, rather than around it, I trimmed the 4 sides, then put the perfed aluminum panel under the bottom one, screwed everything down, and used J moulding to cap off the top of the perfed aluminum to keep it from snagging on things.

Took me about an hour, and $50 worth of aluminum trim. ha!

Awesome work JP. I really like the magazine cubby with the edge-molding and perfed aluminum sheeting. It trims out the wood perfectly.

Your project looks awesome. I've been following it along the way. Great job! We are in the middle of a remodel and would like to know, what did you use to trim out the couch and where did you get it?
