Leonard,
I love picture #4. You should figure out a place to mount them permanently.
MORE POWER!

Great pictures! First I've seen a jack from floor to ceiling - thats innovative - most floor replacements I've seen just shove the plywood under the body - did you find that the jack lifted the body a bit?

Don
The only problem is I would need a Kenworth to pull my A/S. MORE POWER!!!!
Ken
The jack is a large screw jack out of a pickup I assume, it came with the stuff in the trailer, I just screwed it by hand so i could control the lift better, the shell came right up.

Don, it'll be two lengthwise sheets (for 16 feet), and one across the width, to total the length I need...I'll use the end one a full 4 ft wide, and cut down a pair of long ones if I have to.
I'll probably go with the AC ply...it's REALLY nice stuff. Not a visible knot. Rated pretty highly (it is group 1)....and it looks more like AB. No knots at all, even on the back. And I can afford 5 sheets, I guess, in relation to the cost of everything else. It looks better than some of the marine grade I saw.
Anyone with a suggestion where to find large-flange pop rivets?
Hmmmm...
Hey, nice work, Leonard! Doing it that way would have solved my problem of how to get the frame back under the shell...
But I'm beyond that now.
I'll probably buy the ply monday, and start to install the floor wednesday.
I'd love to work on the trailer today, but our neighborhood is having a block party. Today. In front of our house.

Chuck,
You're the lucky one. I need six sheets, so keeping with the lengthwise motif works out in enven number of sheets.
I'm sure I've seen the pop rivets you're looking for, but I can't find their website.

Greg, Apache's out of the rivets I need. And it'll be a couple of months till they get more, probably (since they need at least a $1500 0rder).
I was hoping for somewhere local.....I'm short on time!
Thanks

If you have a Fastenal near you they will have them or can get them in a day or so. If not try the 2 links I posted above, they have always shipped pretty quickly.

Rivets
I ordered elevator bolts from Fastenal and was suprised at both the price and how quickly they arrived. I think they forward web orders to the office nearest your zip code.
I think the elevator bolts were about $.15 each.

Well, my frame's all sandblasted, welded, and primed.
Got a nice thick strip down the center, too!
I cut all the floor plywood today...using 5/8" AC...pretty nice stuff.
I also bought my WestSystem epoxy yesterday.
I'll be placing the plywood, marking my boltholes, then drilling them, then epoxying the whole shebang next!
Then the floor goes on.
This oughtta be done this weekend; I hope to be puttin' the bellypan on by sunday. But I always underestimate

OK!
Progress!
Despite the rain and that pesky rally, I've accomplished some things....
Here's my pre-cut, pre-drilled, pre-epoxied, pre-insulated floor, ready to be installed.....

Those do look good. How much epoxy did it take?

Well, that was a pain. I epoxied one full face, all the edges, and a strip 2-4" in from the edges (on the upside) of all sheets of ply.
I used WestSystem epoxy; a quart of resin was enough, but my hardener ran out about three pumps short of finishing; so I was able to get away with one quart of resin and two cans of hardener. ('course, now I have an almost-full can of hardener, and I'm out of resin).
