sag on passenger rear

hi guys i am new to the site and would like any suggestions or ideas regarding i own a 1973 land yacht & it sags in the right rear & right hand side there is a gap by the door area like the walls are pulling away from floor. it is no longer being used as a trailer i have converted it into a mobile bar. any help would be greatly appeciated

Welcome to the forums!

Search for "rear end separation." It is likely that you have it, and probably extensive frame failure as well. Did you do the conversion to mobile bar yourself, or buy it this way?

Ok, here is my thought.

The axles if original are shot, the trailer rides rough. Weight might have been added in the very rear of the trailer creating a situation where the back of the trailer has been hammered down.

What you are going to find is that the trailer frame is bent down right where the second axle passes through a notch in the frame.

This happened to my trailer After I had repaired the separation issue and used the trailer before changing out the axles.

I fixed this for little more than the price of the axles by using 20' of 3" angle, a jack, and a welder...
