Preventative Frame Maintenance - PQR15

I have read 100's of posts extolling the virtues of PQR15 for coating the frame. I have a non-belly pan model, so that much of the frame is exposed to the road elements. Would those frame experts recommend that I just get under there and brush on some PQR15 (or other compound) to protect the finish on the exposed areas? Obviously, there is no way that I can get to the top part of the frame - the part in contact with the sub-floor.

Anyone else done this?

I have used both and like the Rust Encapsulator from Eastwood company better than POR. I have used both on car restorations. Choose Rust Encapsulator on my AS. Also, their chassis black paint is the best I've found as a top coat. Since you have exposed metal, I'd sure check out the Eastwood paints. (Eastwood.com)

I'm by no means an expert. When restoring a 1978 FJ40 I used both POR15 and a product called Zero Rust. The advantage of Zero Rust is that it comes in spray cans I liked the spray can convenience. I would think it a good idea to add protection in the exposed areas.
