Nice cabinet work.
If the house has too many electric appliances, it my need a bigger breaker panel regardless of whether or not the Airstream is there. You wrote 104 "amps" and I assume you meant volts. 104 v. is too little to run your A/C or any other major electrical appliance or electronic device (if it is drawing 104 amps, you must have an A/C meant to cool an office building or factory). Low (or high) voltage can damage them. Use a heavy duty extension cord (thick like an RV cable) and check to see what the voltage is at the breaker box in the trailer. I'd guess 112 volts are about a low as you can go. If the fridge in the house and the A/C compressors cycle at the same time, that is the most likely time to flip the breaker. Unless you want to learn a lot more about residential wiring, I'd suggest an electrician advise you since he (or she) can examine everything.
But, the inside looks great.

Love the table top decoupage! How did you do it?
Love the corner sink too, wish I'd thought of that.

Thanks! Used 1 large poster and a bunch of photographs....glued them down with a mixture of 1/2 white glue and 1/2 water (or buy it at a craft store or HD). After drying, I applied several coats of poly spray. Or you could paint on a thicker coat of poly or shellac for a hard surface.

Thanks Gene! amps vs volts....I should never try to post anything late at night. LOL. Yes, I meant volts. On a hot humid day, my EMS will sometimes read as little as 104v. Yes, too little to run much of anything but the converter and keep the batteries charged and keep the beer cold in the fridge. Trying to get a good electrician is about as difficult as making a doctor appointment. Ha! But I will probably let a pro determine whether the house can handle an additional 30amp RV receptacle. Don't really need it right now...since most of my interior is in place. Appreciate your input.

Almost 4 Years to The Day
It was a day much like today....September of 2012, when I purchased my '72 Trade Wind from a farmer in Minnesota....where it had been sitting neglected for a number of years.
Now, nearly 4 years to the day, I can finally say that for all intents and purposes, my full monty is complete. Of course, there will always be things to do...perhaps re-do...as we get to know each other. But I have already enjoyed several short trips, and everything works as I had dreamed it would.
So, just a few last pictures of the trim work I have been installing over the last few days...and restoring the nomenclature to a vibrant blue.
Safe Travels All! It's been a great adventure....(and somewhat exhausting...in more ways than one....)
Trade Wind....Take Me Away......

Did Arktos55343 take the "Internet Cure" or just the "Airforums Cure"?
I wouldn't blame you if you lost Airforums URL, yup, this place got me into a whole lotta trouble too!
I stopped in and visited for a while a week or so ago with his Airstream & it presents as a work of Art, period. Best fine craftsmanship from the tailgate of a work truck I've ever seen. His trailer did seem lonely though, perhaps there will be another soon?
Arktos55343, congratulations and we'n hope to hear of adventures and fine-tuning the systems soon!

A Sad Ending to a Beautiful Beginning....
Dear Friends -
Just out of the hospital, and on way too many pain meds at the moment, I am sorry to report that my dream has come to an abrupt end.
Approximately 4:30am Saturday....cruising down I35 north of OKC...on my way to Phoenix...my recently completed '72 Vintage Trade Wind 25' towed by my F250 Super Duty, was struck from behind at a high rate of speed....causing my rig to go into a violent skid and catastrophic roll-over. Everything is a total loss. And I am lucky to be alive.
Be careful out there!

Arktos,
So sorry to hear of your accident. I hope you have a full and speedy recovery and that the other driver has good insurance, but nothing can replace the effort you obviously put into your restoration.

So sad to hear but glad your still alive! I have followed your build and know this is a tremendous loss to you...you had a lot of sweat and blood in that trailer! Hope and pray your physical pains heal quickly.

Oh, no!
So happy that you're alive, but so sorry for your loss!
Can't imagine how frightening it must have been. We've rolled in daylight and it's not something you'll forget.
Hope you have good care, and a quick recovery. And for the others involved I hope they have insurance.

Totalled....but alive.
Just a couple pics of the after-math. Thank you all for your well wishes!!
Just as an after note....I reported to the trooper that I smelled alcohol on the other driver's breath. The trooper chose to do nothing about it. Going to stop into the OKC highway patrol and see what can be done to change that determination.
Safe travels, all!
Ark
