Installing new sub-floor

We are making the brackets for the gray and black holding tanks now. The next step will be installing the new sub-floor. Can anyone give me an idea of how many elevator bolts might be need for a 22' 1965 Safari?

Ummmmm, lets see. For our 31 ft, we used 75 bolts approx.
What do your brackets look like? How did you fabricate them? Do you have pictures? What did you use for grey tanks? We're heading into that territory in the summer, so we're interested!

Thanks for the information on the elevator bolts. For the gray tank we used Ronco Plastics tank #17H, 25 gal. I am installing the tank behind the rear axel, keeping all of the plumbing inside the kitchen sink cabinet. The brackets will be 1 1/2" angel iron bolted to the frame. Sorry we don't have any picture yet. We will take some when we get the brackets made and the tank installed.
We are using Ronco tank #18H for the black tank as recommended by Uwe who owns Area 63. Shelly at Ronco was really great to work with.

We just installed the gray tank. I made the brackets out of 1 1/2" angle iron, and bolted the brackets to the frame. I then dropped the tank in. The vent pipe and inlet will be inside the kitchen cabinet. Not a hard job at all and can be done with the floor in place.

Now onto installing the new subfloor!

Looks good! Our subfloor is in place so we'll be working from underneath. Chris is going to try his hand at fabricating grey water tanks out of plastic using a plastic welding kit. It's on back order currently, so he's in a holding pattern. We can reuse our black water tank, and bought a new fresh water tank since ours is grungy to the point of no longer safe.
The subfloor is very satisfying to get into place - starts looking like a trailer again!
