How to rip out carpet and add floors?

Okay so once I buy my airstream I'm gonna rip out the old carpet,

What tile is recommended to replace? I'm thinking vinyl not wood would add to much weight. But a fake wood look

Is it hard to do yourself? I've removed old carpet from a house TOUGH but manageable. Any advice or other forums on this topic?

If you read through the forums and look for the threads that people have started documenting their restorations projects (search for 'full monty') or floor replacements you'll find lots of info on this sort of thing. What's best for one person isn't necessarily best for you. Tastes are subjective.

Try to familiarize yourself with the different sub-forums as I think you'll find a lot of the answers you are looking for have been covered fairly well with good descriptions and photos of the process.
