Hardwood removal 93 Classic

The 93 Classic Limited has a hardwood flooring (found under the vinyl flooring) problem. The hardwood flooring has severe damage from a leaking fridge (totally rotted out). How to take out the hardwood floor? Can I use a circular saw set to the depth of the planks and cut lines at right angles to the planks at increments back along the length of the floor? Then replace the flooring with marine grade plywood to act as a base for a floating vinyl floor planks?

That's how I would do it, you can set the blade a little higher first, and the planks should break out the rest
