Gap between floor and shell

I got my new floor installed in the rear and I noticed a gap up to a quarter of an inch between the floor an floor channel both sides of the rear. Should I try to jack up the rear frame then attach the shell? I understand the shell holds up the frame and the frame holds up the shell but not this much! What should I do?

Definitely jack up the frame and make this gap disappear.
Look at the outside perimeter first, make sure the skin is not sitting on top of the floor. The floor should be tucked closely inside the skin.

The last outrigger is under the corner post where the straight side meets the beginning of the curved end. One bolt should tie the outrigger, floor and C-channel together at this point. The frame doesn't support any more of the floor edge until you are at the very back and the two longitudinal beams should have a similar bolt connection through the floor and C-channel. Between these two points there were multiple screws driven through the C-channel to hold up the floor going around the curve. If that's all that needs to be corrected I'm with Uwe -- the ply edge should be just up inside the side skin.

Jackit up!

When I dropped the shell on I ran the tongue jack down and jacked up the bumper to make the floor bow up at the ends. Made my end wall line of rivets and lowered the bumper till the side walls all lined up.

Make sure there is a bolt through each of the outrigger ends through the floor and the C-Channel like Canoe stream pointed out.

I had about the same gap (a little less) when I replaced the rear section of plywood on the '78 Sovereign. I put a stationary jack under each of the frames at the rear (avoided llifting on the bumber that way) and ran the electric jack "down" - lowering the rear end on the two jacks at the rear under the frame (as 59toaster advised above).
