Frame replacement in a weekend! Wow!

Check out this Ebay Auction!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=50073

"This is a complete rolling chassis from a 1959 Airstream 22' model. It is 100% rust free and is an excellent candidiate for replacing your rusted frame on a body off restoration. It has a good 3500 Lb axle, new tires and freshly packed bearings. Dealers quote over $17000 for a frame replacement, but after the belly pan is removed there are only about 20 bolts to remove your body and lift it off the frame! This frame will fit most trailer bodies in the 40's 50's or 60's that is in the 20-23' range with minor adaptation and a new floor. You can perform all the work necessary in a weekend and be rolling with no frame worries forever! Use it on your Airstream, Boles Aero, Silver Streak, Curtis Wright or other trailer- you can even build a custom trailer on it. "

This is the guy that is cutting up Airstreams, and selling them in pieces to local businesses for decoration.

Brett,

The fellow running the ad clearly states "rust free" . This is NOT supported by the pictures - there I go checking details again !
