Is it possible to replace the entire frame
Without gutting my Airstream?

Short answer, no, besides, if your frame is shot, then your subfloor is overdue for replacement as well.

El Nino

Got a 1980 Airstream International and am about to remove the body from the frame and was wondering where are the hidden rivets (attachments) everyone talks' about? Floor is gone,removed, out, finished. burned. thank you Lord

Um...not to be overtly facetious, but...they're hidden.

Or more specifically, I don't think anyone at the factory consciously hides rivets, but sometimes there are rivets that get overlooked because they are squeezed in next to a rib, or under some trim, etc.. Sometimes you can drill out every river that needs to be removed, and you still need to run a putty knife all the way around the shell to ensure that burs, etc., aren't still sort of attaching the shell to the C-channels.
