Floor thickness on 1974 Tradewind

Hi, We have a 1974 Tradewind, she is called Molly May after our repective mothers.
I have just bought a Flammia leg assembly for a replacement table. The base fitting needs to be recessed 2 1/2 inches into the floor. I know the floor is 5/8 plywood, is there space under that without hitting the water tank. I want to recess it about 48 inches from the front window and on the centre line.

I would drill a small hole and put a clothes hanger with a bend in it and spin it around to see if there are any obstructions. It’s what I did when putting in recessed lights in my ceiling of my house. Needed to know where my rafters were. Same concept but your checking to see where water tank is. I have a 72 safari and my table is in the front and below it is empty. My Water tank is located about 3 ft in front of my first axle.
