Floor filler

I am completing subfloor repairs. Places where there was significant damage were replaced. Other places that showed some small areas of rot (like, less than 1") were treated with penetrating epoxy. I need to fill these divots - plus some other random surface damage - before waterproofing and laying new sheet vinyl. Is there something better for this than bondo?

TIA - Funkee

I have successfully used Ardex TL Wood. It is a self leveling product that can be feathered to a flush edge. I’m sure there are other products. I’ve used bondo, but only over the elevator bolt heads. I don’t know if you’re going with regular vinyl or something like Marmoleum. Good luck.

I've used this to fill countersunk screws and hammer dents in plywood and lumber. Repair broken moldings and such.

Problem is, for one project I had to order a half a dozen tubes of the stuff. It's tough as nails, lasts it can be sanded, all in all it worked pretty darn well.👍

I have used Minwax High Performance Wood Filler on damaged plywood floors with good results. It's for both interior and exterior. It's waterproof. You can get it at a big box home store for about 15 bucks.
