I have a 73 Globetrotter that has several extra holes (circular and oval) in the plywood floor, one in a closet near the rear bath shower, others near the furnace/fresh water tank. Do these holes serve a purpose (maybe allow heat to make it in to the bellypan in these areas?) or can they be covered (maybe the factory cut the plywood for use in several models)?

In my former 64 GT, I had several just as you described on the street side front of the unit. From old floor plans, it would appear that some floor plans had a furance in this area..?? My 64GT didn't have the furance installed and, the outside vent opening were riveted over/closed. My thinking is: At the factory, worker bee must have had a "common" jig to go by and, just cut away??

Cos, in my '73 Overlander, there's at least one cutout under the bed that's not used. IIRC, it was for some electrical connection/device that was required for Canadian models. The factory probably just used a standard pattern for all Overlanders of the day.
Has enyone replaced or updated your plumbing? When we pulled all the copper out of the 60 TW there were no less than three drain outlets in the system for winterizing.
