Best way to get at rotten wood between shower and bathroom door

2017 FC FBT and the floor between subject area noticeably flexes and squeaks when walking through. I believe it was caused by a leak through tank vent that went unnoticed for some time. Even taking it to dealer didn't discover it. I finally found posts about the vent and put another cap on, and leak that was coming in on the ceiling is gone. It's been gone for some time but floor is now in this condition and I'd like to see if I can cut the vinyl back and inspect/inject epoxy, etc. Has anyone done this and can you offer advice. thanks
PS It's not wall to floor squeak.
