I feel comfortable recommending Colin Hyde for your axle needs. He can be contacted at (518) 578-7772. He spec'd out my axle for me and had it drop shipped to a local shop in my area to do the work.

The freight from California will be considerably cheaper, than from Indiana.

I'd give Colin a call. He is the only one able to order OEM Henschen axles now, and he is the only one we use for Airstream axles.
I've tried getting Dexter axles from Redneck, but after having to return 3 sets of axles because either the brackets were mounted wrong, starting angle was wrong, shock brackets are not available and had to be welded on after delivery, ez-lube hubs instead of standard, I swore I'd never get Dexter axles again unless they made some radical changes (or I had a gun pointed at my head). So far, neither has happened. If someone inists on selling you Dexter axles, make sure you are aware of their return policy, in case you have problems like I have had multiple times.

Hi Bill,
There are a few different places you can get axles. As a commercial member of this forum I can't quote what it will cost. I can tell you that I highly recommend you shop around and take everything into consideration like
-axle cost
-customer support pre and post sale
-cost of shipping
-ease of installation
-shock brackets either already installed, loose and needing to weld on or cut the old shock brackets off and weld on the new axle.

I have bought many axles from Colin Hyde and I highly recommend him and the axles he sells.

There are many threads here on axle replacement. I would point you to this thread to start your reading.
