Aluminum sheet under subfloor?

We're removing the subfloor on a '65 Tradewind (Lulu) because of floor rot, frame separation, and frame damage (yikes!). We've come across a mysterious sheet of aluminum located between the frame and the subfloor batt insulation. I've scoured the forums and can't see any evidence of this sheet anywhere. We're not sure how to proceeed. Does anyone out there have any knowledge of this kind of thing? Thanks!

I had a piece located under the sub floor as well. It was located at the entrance and cover the gap between the frame at that particular spot. It cover the hole where the stairs fold up into and hopefully protects the subfloor from rot in that area...

Where was it located? If it covered the entire width of the trailer, and covered the first sheet of plywood in the front of the trailer, then it was probably there in case the owner of the trailer took the option to have a spare tire carrier installed under the trailer in that first section (in which case the belly-ap would be reconfigured to create a cavity there).
