'69 Overlander Clean Water Tank Pan

My '69 Overlander came to me partially renovated. The back end was badly rusted out, and I've now pulled the black water tank. but the PO had already removed the clean water tank, and replaced the floor in front, but without reinstallin gthe clean water tank. I'm going to pull up the new floor (which is not even bolted down), and reinstall the clean water tank.

I'm wondering the clean water tank was mounted the same way as the black water tank? In other words, is it in a pan and mounted on pieces of angle iron bolted to the frame, just as the rear, black water tank is?

Wondering because if I have to order materials for remounting both tanks, I'd prefer to make just one order.

Nver mind, just figured out the fresh water tank goes ON the floor, not under it.

Clean water tank placement

In my '71 Overlander, the clean water tank is in a space below the galley floor, with a 1" piece of plywood serving as the floor of the tank area, which slides into guide slots welded to the frame. In other words, to remove the fresh water tank, a piece of z-angle, which is bolted to the guides across the width of the trailer, is removed. Then the plywood sheet is pulled out towards the front of the trailer - tank falls. The tank is available from Inca Plastics.

Have fun with your renovation,
