67' Land Yacht 31' (frame) buying need help

Hi,
What a neat place! My husband and I just agreed on a price to purchase a 67' Land Yacht. We have been looking for a while and learning as much and as fast as we can. Thankfully we are handy and can do the interior remodel. But... That comes after the frame and subfloor repair. We have a friend who can rewire her and a welder friend. But this AS won't make it that far. We will need a close local welder to fix the frame so we can travel to start the rest. Rear bath subfloor is bad. No surprise. Bumper has rusted through and separated. Belly skin aside from bumper area in surprisingly good condition. Frame by door is Swiss cheese. Basically we anticipate major frame repair.

Our major question (aside from if we are nuts) is if its worst case scenario and whole frame is shot can a welder/machinist do a shell on frame restoration?
Subfloor seems better than expected aside from door area and bathroom. But I am preparing for major surprises.
Any help would be so greatly appreciated.
