when you put fuses in the bottom half of the 110 side you will have no power. You have to jump from the one black terminal on the main fuse to the other. I found this out in a very hard lesson.
And while I am laying all this (hopefully positive) criticism on you... Only strip off the insulation that goes into the terminals. It is not a good idea to have a lot of bare copper showing in a distribution box. Once again, I found this out in a very hard lesson.

Frank I am not delicate so please criticize me. Posting as a novice you should expect it. I was told to set the switch up like this( minus the other grounds) from the place i purchased the switch. The fans on the dc side work so does the jack. When i cut off the batts the jack doesn't work. I am going to see if all is working when i get home.

Ok here is the basic set up. Pos to cut off switch 60amp inline fuse neg to converter battery grounded to frame green cable

Oh that. Since I was switching stuff around I didnt have time to make a new black power cord. Dont worry its legit I will make the proper colored cable this weekend. For now its just the wrong color but its not set up wrong.

Javier, That first picture of the switch... those require the 90* female crimp plugs... make sure you crimp XTRA hard. They seem to come off the wire a lot on me.

Thank you Frank where do u get your crimp plugs from? Do you use a special tool or just pliers?

They are called flag quick connect terminals. You use a standard electrical crimp tool.

We when I get a bug up my butt to do something it can get me into a bit of trouble. I was going to finish my lower inner walls but the panel just out side the front door was really buggin so.....

Thanks Mike the pannels are pretty time consuming but worth it in the end. Good luck with your pannels!
