I have some holes in back of trailer in floor. If I take off the trim strip aluminum and then unscrew osb can I get it out and slide in a sheet of plywood? It looks like 3/4" thick, is that right for a '85 Sovereign? Why was AS using osb anyway?
Do a search for "clamshell repair" - I think that describes what you are referring to.

I have an '87 Sovereign with a similar problem. If your floor is the same as mine it is 5/8 OSB with the edges that go under the aluminum "U" channel in the front and back of the trailer routered down about an 1/8". After two dealers botched the repair job I decided to do it myself. Joe
