Window woes

We purchased a large replacement window for a 1974 Ambassador. The window that was sent from Vintage Airstream Supply is too large. Their only help was to cut the window hole bigger. Has anyone had this issue when buying a replacement window. I double checked the serial number and it definitely looks to be a 1974.

Here is the number #I29A4-S1561
Thanks in advance.
